Joining me again on Blackbird TV from Sandhills Global is my friend Mitch Helman. Mitch sent me an email this week and Sandhills is rolling out a brand new valuation product. And I called them up and I said, dude, we have to put this out to the appraisers. Mitch, tell us about this. David, appreciate you bringing me on. Yeah, it’s called Value Insight Portal, VIP or whatever you want to call it, on short, but yeah, it’s powered by Fleet Evaluator. We’ve had Fleet Evaluator out for several years now, which is our asset appraisal tool built within Tractor House Machinery Trader Truck Paper, all our equipment marketplaces and all the dealers, auctioneers. You know, I’ve been kind of getting their feet wet with it, using it heavily for trade in values. And we eventually and this was kind of the plan from the get go, is to get it out to the masses, to make it quicker, easier and more timely so that you guys can accurately put values on equipment, because it’s it’s extremely time consuming. Well, I’ll tell you, I’ve been playing with it and it’s fantastic. Let me share my screen. All right. So this is the screen that you get when when you when you bring up the portal, the value inside portal, and it’s really cool. You start typing and it brings up. Exactly. It fills it in for you a lot of times. And let’s go with a two ninety nine D X HP, and that is a track mounted skid steer loader and it’s a twenty twenty year model. And you click the next button and then ask you how many hours it has. This one has five hundred and sixty nine hours on it and has enclosed ROPS hydraulic. It’s got a really nice quick attach and it is the two speed model. Watch this. Right. And this is based on data that’s coming from your sales records through your various channels. Yep. Yeah. You know, it’s you know, we’re in a very unique position with with what we do as as a business, as far as, you know, providing marketing, you know, to reach the buyers and the dealers out there. You know, with in this case skid steers Machinery Trader, you know, is the marketplace for people to buy used equipment. So we we have access to all the end user buyers. But on the flip side, all the dealers do business with us. So, you know, on a on an annual basis between tractor house machinery trader and truck paper, we we roughly collect about a hundred and forty billion dollars of inventory and values that roll through us. That’s a significant amount of data. And you’re sharing it for free, which I think is fantastic. Right. But this is a really cool feature right here. The FutureCast. You can click that button. I don’t own the machine. And I’m going to click that. And it’s going to predict, based on what’s happened in the past, what might happen in the future. I’m sure there’s all kinds of disclaimers on that. Right. But look at the way this goes and you can pick your date and what that auction value is going to be or what that market value is going to be to all our banke and asset based lender viewers that are out there and the other appraisers that are on our stream. This is a great tool. Sandhills is giving it away. And I’m going to encourage everybody to to go in and take it a test drive. You’ve got to sign up for Machine Trader, have a login ID, which I think is pretty easy. And and you’re giving that away. And as a new user, Mitch, you get five values per day. But you can click a button and ask for more valuations for that. Is that true? Yeah, you sure can. If you’re a user, that would need more than five and, you know, actively appraising a big package or, you know, lease returns at repos, whatever may be coming in in the masses. Click the button.
