Because Blackbird specializes in the appraisal and auction of heavy machinery and equipment; being able to drive an excavator, race dump trucks and smash through walls with a crane seems like a welcomed new experience. Diggerland USA will be privately owned but will acquire some of the original staples like “Spin Dizzy” where 8 passengers are swung up and down and in various circles by a 20 ton JCB JS220L excavator. Park goers will also be able to drive a JCB 3CX backhoe on a mystery tour of the grounds. Although we are located in Buffalo, New York and not South Jersey, I can foresee planning a trip that I would imagine would cost much less than a family trip to Disney and be just as much fun for a 2 year old boy. I’m not sure who will be more excited to ride a construction vehicle, me or my son, but it will be nice to share a little bit of what I do outside the home with him.
